We had a really great time on this tour, despite the bus being late due to traffic which is a common theme in Baku as well as the poor weather on the day. Hussain provided great explanations about the lovely town of Lahij as well as some interesting stories about life in Azerbeijan. Our lunch in a small shop in Lahij was delicious, and we also were able to see local craftsmen at work which was fascinating. Finally, on the winery tour in Shamakhi we learnt about the processes used to make wine, as well…”
